Hi, I'm J.T. Buice (JAY TEE BYS) and I love Jesus. As a technology enthusiast and problem solver, I've spent my career building and managing IT systems that help organizations achieve their missions, from working to make life multi-planetary at SpaceX to founding an IT services business called Kainos Technologies, and a Blockchain Network called Telos. But there's much more to my story than just technology. I'm also a father to two absolutely amazing kids and I'm deeply passionate about preserving and restoring pieces of agricultural history, particularly pre-1930s farm tractors. There's something magical about bringing these mechanical marvels back to life, understanding their ingenious designs, and connecting with our agricultural heritage. This fascination with both historical machinery and modern innovation carries through to my other interests in 3D printing, metal machining, and micro-electronics projects. In 2025, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with male breast cancer. This experience has opened my eyes to the importance of raising awareness about this rare but serious condition affecting men. Through my blog, I share my journey, challenges, and insights, hoping to break down stigmas and help others who might be facing similar circumstances. When I'm not working on technology solutions or tractor restoration, you'll likely find me seeking out the perfect nugget ice, appreciating life's simple pleasures like the cold side of the pillow, or exploring mountain landscapes where the crisp air and stunning views remind me of what matters most.
